Utsavs

The Society celebrates four ‘UTSAVS’ in a year which are common in all “Krishna Mandirs” of Hindus. These are Janmasthami, Jhulan Purnima or RakhiPurmina, RasYatra and Dol Purnima. Short descriptions of the utsavs are given below.

Jhulan Purnima:

It is to commemorate a “Balya Lila” of Lord Krishna and his consort Radha on a full-moon day. The society organizes free distribution of Rakhi to all devotees in the Rakhi Purnima night after the puja and Arati. This festival occurs close to Janmasthami and continue for five days.
